		<description>While I wouldn't disagree with the need to recruit and engage with younger members, it does make cringe when these calls start to stray into ageism. What on earth is wrong with a gmb conference where the average age is in the 40s? That would make the conference average somewhere close to the average age of the British labour force and isn't that who we are supposed to represent? Do you really think someone who aged 40 is "old", and even if you did so what? A little bit more solidarity for workers of all ages please!</description>
