Hi Mr Umunna.
Following on from your article in the Guardian this morning, I am actually organising an event at The Shoreditch Town Hall on Thursday 23rd August, 6-11pm, targeted toward black professionals to mark the end of the Kids Company 10 year Anniversary exhibition 'Demons & Angels - Does it have to be this way'. Exploring how as a 'community' we can help raise our young people in a positive way. As a black woman working for Kids Company, I feel very passionate about exposing our young people to black professionals from a number of sectors as opposed to the stero-typed music and sport too. It would be great to see you there; Please rsvp here.
The exhibition will culminate in a conference in October 2007 bringing together leading policy makers, politicians, clinicians and academics to discuss the issues raised by the exhibition. I look forward to hearing from you.

Kindest regards
