On Saturday 28th January in central London, a group of disabled, sick and elderly people are going to engage in a daring and disruptive act of civil disobedience, and they’ve asked for our support. Britain isn’t perfect. But our welfare state offers something that everyone can be proud of. It’s a comforting thought that if tomorrow you lost your job, your home or even a limb, society would be there to help you through it.
UK Feminism: a review of the last decade
As part of our special on International Women’s Month, TMP commissioned a feminist writer and campaigner to produce their perspectives on the progress that Feminism has made in the last decade. This article ranges from asylum seekers to the demonisation of female MPs, and hopefully will kick start a debate about the way forward.
